Here is another soundtrack for movies I wrote and recorded, this time it’s not an orchestral work, instead I decided to go minimal and experimental using synths and sound manipulations. The theme describes, in a surreal way, the picture below (from a great painter – Leonid Afremov) according to the way I see it…
Here is another track from Steady Pitch titled “Desert Lagoon”, a beautiful instrumental Rock Blues ballad which, after exploring the classics of rock-blues with some virtuoso guitars on top, evolves into something between Fusion Progressive Rock, check it out!
This is a very easy and effective guitar solo, it’s a mix of different guitar soloing styles from Malmsteen, to Petrucci, to Al Di Meola and a final touch of blues (maybe Hendrix???), it was good fun playing it and Obsidian Key’s fans loved to guess all the influences!
